♡ Walk The Land is an independently-run natureplay program where children have the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging with the natural world from an early age.
♡ A place where they have the spaciousness to find their own rhythms and learning dynamics.
♡ To meet with other younger minds and bodies in a pressure-off context and find regulation in their nervous systems.
♡ Values and essentials that will set them up for a grounded confident life.
♡ Welcoming the opportunity for children to feel the freedom of their own explorations of self-discovery and curiosity while being supported and guided in their arising creative interests.
♡ Nestled amongst beautiful eucalyptus and varying landscapes of flora in the Valley, a short distance from Yarra Junction, Launching Place and Healesville.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
9am - 3pm.
Days are child-led - creatively supporting the children's interests and needs.
Children are encouraged to explore and are guided and mentored in their own pursuits.
Mixed ages
Activities include:
Climbing trees, bush-hiking, morning and afternoon tea, building bushcubbies, making mudbricks, playing in the creek, crafting, storytime and song, planting veggies and revegetating the land
A team of experienced facilitators are gathering to create a program for your older children ages 7-12 to journey through advanced skills such as shelter building, plant identifying, whittling, fire-starting and community living.
An exciting inspiration for a parent/bubs program in the practice of village life.
Parents come with your little ones and gather weekly to co-create a facilitated space for listening, being heard and learning new skills while your children are cared for. Children may sit with their parent or join the other children of the natureplay village for an activity.
Join us during the holidays where children will be inspired by nature and their imagination to enhance their exploration of the natural world.

My daughter and I are both so happy with Samantha and the beautiful land that Walk the Land is held on. My little one loves and trusts Sam. She happily joins in the morning craft activity as soon as she arrives, and is cheerful and vibrant when I pick her up at the end of her day.
It’s so precious to be able to walk away knowing she will be cared for as well as guided in nature play and creative activities.

Walk The Land
I acknowledge the Woi Wurrung Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the First Peoples of the land and waterways that I live, work and learn on. I honour their songlines, their storylines and I express my respect to Wurundjeri elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has not been ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
